Resurrection Basketball Winter 2024-2025

Join the excitement of Resurrection Basketball! We welcome boys and girls to participate in this school-level basketball program within the FAA (Fairchester Athletic Association). Resurrection Basketball is not just about competition; it's an opportunity for boys and girls to learn, grow, and have fun together. The focus is on sportsmanship, teamwork, and enjoying the game.

Resurrection School will field 3 teams: 
  • 7/8 Girls Basketball
  • 5/6 Boys Basketball
  • 7/8 Boys Basketball
 
Registration for the upcoming season is open from November 20th to the 28th. Practices start on November 29th and the season runs through March with two events, game or practice, per week.  
  • Girls team practices will be Monday/Wednesday 2:45 pm to 4:00 pm
  • Boys teams practices will be Tuesday/Thursday 2:45 pm to 4:00 pm.
  • Teams will participate in multiple games, held Monday to Thursday, schedule to be determined.
  • You will receive an email each Thursday with the practice and game schedule for the following week, 
  • Please note, that there is no transportation provided from the school to AWAY games, parents must arrange transportation.

Please note, because the Basketball program schedule may vary from week to week, we ask that you update your child's Pick Up Patrol dismissal plan weekly after you receive the following week's schedule on Wed.
  • For HOME practices and games please select "After School Activity" with a note "Basketball" for that day. If your child will not attend a HOME event, please update the daily plan with a dismissal option and a note "Will not attend Basketball". 
  • For AWAY games, your child will be dismissed based on the dismissal plan in Pickup Patrol for that day. Parents will arrange transportation to the game. Please update the dismissal plan if needed.

Resurrection Volleyball Winter 2024-2025

Welcome to the Resurrection Girls Volleyball Winter Team!

We're thrilled to invite girls in grades 4-8 to join our JV and Varsity teams for the upcoming winter season. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance skills in preparation for our competitive spring season.

**Key Information:**
- Registration: November 6th to December 2nd.
- Practice Start Date: December 2nd.
- JV Practice: Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:00 to 4:00
- Varsity Practice: Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:00 to 5:00

Volleyball has been flourishing at Resurrection, providing a space for girls to bond outside the classroom and develop their on-court abilities. Players are required to have knee pads for every practice and future games.

**Pickup Patrol:**
- JV Practices: If your child won't attend, please update Pickup Patrol with their after-school arrangements.
- Varsity Practices: Students can choose to stay at Resurrection, become an everyday walker for added flexibility, or take the bus home and return for practice.
